This might be a long review, but, there is a story behind it. In my past, I worked in two different shops that sold new tires and repaired tires. I have repaired passenger car tires, pickup tires, class 8 truck tires and even industrial equipment tires. I had a nail in my 2024 Jeep tire, I do not like plugs in tires unless it is an emergency. I decided to try Discount Tire in Jonesboro, since I was already in Jonesboro. I told them it was the right side passenger tire, mind you, the warning comes up on the display on the dash and tells you what tire is low. They told me it would take about an hour to fix because they were busy, very understandable. My wife and I decided to walk to Academy and wander around while they fixed it. We returned after an hour only to find they had not even got it in the door. They told me they were short four people and that they would get it in soon, an hour later, they got my vehicle in.I looked out in the shop, and they have the drivers side tire off (mind you the display on the dash shows which tire is low and stays on until you toggle the controls and acknowledge the fault) I said "What are they doing, they took the wrong tire off" The front desk guy said "Let me check on it." He comes back in and says, "There was a nail in that one too" I said, "Thats funny, I have never added air to that tire and it has maintained air pressure." I guess I could have picked up a nail somewhere on my way from Paragould and Jonesboro, but I found it unlikely. They proceeded with the initial repair on the passenger side. The front clerk walks in and says, "I have some bad news, we can't repair your tire." I said, "What? I saw the nail in the tire and it is 100 percent repairable, it's not in the sidewall and it's not on the outer radius of the tire. I want to see it." I walk out into the shop and look at it and say, "That tire is 100 percent repairable, there is only 25,000 miles on the OE Michelin tire." The clerk said "Nope, we cannot repair it, we will put your spare on or we will put a new tire on." At this point, I just want to leave and not have to deal with it. I said, "Just put a new tire on it." They charged me 335 dollars for a new tire and three hours later, I am back on the road.I return to Paragould, and head to RnR Tire and have them look at my old tire. They said, "That tire is 100 percent repairable in fact, we will do it right now." They repaired it and didn't charge me a dime!Bottom line, go to RnR and not Discount Tire.Thank you Carson, Ben, Cody, and the entire crew at RnR.
Came to get new tires but I wasn't sure what I was doing and Cody and Ben were an big help and walked me through the entire thing, and made it an awsome experience for me, totally recommend, 10\10!!
