At RNR Tire Express, community is at the heart of everything we do! This year we continued our annual tradition of the Breast Cancer Awareness giveaway. The Breast Cancer Awareness giveaway gave those all around the country the opportunity to nominate the Breast Cancer Fighter or Survivor in their life for the chance to receive the THINK PINK Package. After reviewing the many incredible stories of the Fighters and Survivors that were submitted, we came across the inspiring story of Chris from Lakeland, Florida.

Chris, who is currently battling Breast Cancer for the second time, is recognized not only for her resilience when faced with a life-changing illness, but also for her selfless dedication to helping others. Upon reading Chris’s story, we knew she was the perfect candidate to receive the THINK PINK Package.

Despite facing her own health challenges, Chris is also supporting her husband through his health concerns, and she remains actively involved in her community. She volunteers with Meals on Wheels, runs a nonprofit called The Hub that assists other nonprofits in the area, and provides support to cancer patients through groups like A Hug in a Box and the Rose.

Kelly’s nomination highlighted all the different ways Chris is a true fighter, survivor, and an active member in her community. Chris’s determination to make the world around her a better place, regardless of her own health battles, resonated deeply.

The surprise THINK PINK Package included four Tires from RNR Tire Express, a VIP Spa Day package, and $1,000.

When we found out that Kelly, who nominated Chris, is also a Breast Cancer Survivor and actively involved in The Hub, we knew we had to do something special for her. We gifted Kelly a VIP Spa Day Package as well as donated $500 to The Hub to help their nonprofit grow.
